Big Book of Science - Science skill

• Camp Forlorn Hope: Inside the command center, in the southeast corner, on the desk.
• HELIOS One: Given as a reward from Ignacio Rivas for distributing power to the entire grid during That Lucky Old Sun.
• Brewer's Beer Bootlegging: Found in the cellar, which you find in the back room on a table to the left of the chemistry set.
• Nipton: On the desk in Mayor Joseph B. Steyn's office on the top floor of the Nipton Town Hall building.
• REPCONN Headquarters: Located on the first floor through the door next to the radioactive barrel display, located on a shelf past the Hard locked door.
• Ashton Missile Silo (Loansome Road DLC): Located in the north corner of the launch deck, level 3 of the silo wreckage just past a Hard locked safe.
• Y-0 Research Center (Old World Blues DLC): You can find it nestled in the canyon to the south of the Y-0 building. It's tucked between two xander root plants, near the skeletal remains of a hand.
• Sierra Madre Casino (Dead Money DLC): You can locate it in the Sierra Madre casino, specifically within the Executive Suites area. It's placed on a bookshelf in Vera's room.

Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual - Sneak skill

• Camp Searchlight: In the east church's basement, by the eastern wall, at the foot of the metal shelves, on the floor.
• Goodsprings: In the Goodsprings home inhabited by Trudy and Sunny Smiles, east from the schoolhouse, on a bookshelf.
• NCR Sharecropper Farms: On some papers, by the corner desk inside the sharecropper barracks near the four water towers in the northeast corner of the fenced-in area.
• Vault 3: In the living quarters on a shelf, down the stairs from the recreation area through an Average locked door.
• Puesta Del Sol Switching Station (Dead Money DLC): You'll find it in the switching station's farthest eastern room. Look for a large machine on the southern side of the room. The book is on the catwalk that encircles this machine.
• Sunstone Tower Roof (Loansome Road DLC): It's hidden from view on a bookshelf that faces the wall. This bookshelf is located on the southeast landing, up one flight of stairs from the first floor's interior entrance. You can retrieve it by placing or throwing explosives onto the bookshelf beneath the filing cabinet.
• X-13 Research Facility (Old World Blues DLC): Look for it on the floor, directly across from the door in the room where the chest plate for the Stealth Suit Mk II is located.
• X-13 Research Facility (Old World Blues DLC): You'll find it in the testing facility section, inside the reward safe that opens upon completion of all the stealth suit tests.

D.C. Journal of Internal Medicine - Medicine Skill

• Followers Safehouse: On the bedside table shelf, by the bed on the right, in the second room. Entry requires a key.
• HELIOS One: Upstairs in the main building, lying on a bed in the same room with the east terminal password.
• Hell's Motel: The shack inside the Mesquite Mountains crater, below the globe with a hat, is on the table with the radio and repair kit.
• Novac: In the middle of the queen-sized bed, inside Ranger Andy's bungalow.
• Cave of the Abaddon (Loansome Road DLC): After exiting the Cave of the Abaddon, look in the southern corner under a nightstand in the room with the bed and the exit to The Divide (in the "Buried Building"). It's beneath the RALPHIE poster.
• Villa Clinic (Dead Money DLC): In the Villa Clinic basement, it's inside a tool cabinet next to some fire extinguishers.

Dean's Electronics

• Nellis Air Force Base: Inside Loyal's house, on the long counter next to the ruined terminal.
• Sloan: In the worker barracks, on the top shelf to the left of the entrance.
• Southern Nevada Wind Farm: In the shack, on the table with the clipboard and scrap metal.
• Abandoned Brotherhood of Steel Bunker (Requires Dead Money DLC). The book is found in the office area, opposite the reloading bench.
• Hopeville Missile Silo Bunker (Requires Loansome Road DLC): Upon entering the room with the first missile, you'll find the book to the left of the staircase, nestled among some debris.
• Puesta del Sol Switching Station (Requires Dead Money DLC): Located in the south center of the map, the book is on the upper level next to the terminal that turns off power to the protected speakers. It's a challenging task, but you can reach it without Christine and disarm the tripwire before the collar explodes.

Duck and Cover!

• Mojave Outpost: Inside the Mojave Outpost barracks, below the bar counter in the middle of the bottom shelf.
• Nellis Air Force Base: Among the books on the shelf, above the grenade rifle, inside Pearl's barracks.
• Ranger Station Foxtrot: On the table next to Comm Officer Lenk.
• Sloan: It is inside the worker barracks on the back left shelf under a first aid box.
• Collapsed Overpass Tunnel (Requires Loansome Road DLC): just south of the exit to The High Road, the book is hidden in a crate beneath a teddy bear, tucked behind some sandbags.
• Residential District (Requires Dead Money DLC): The book is lodged under the bed in the room where you first encounter Dean Domino. You can only retrieve it by using explosives or similar methods to dislodge the book.

Grognak the Barbarian

• Cannibal Johnson's Cave: On the mattress near the radio, close to the campfire.
• Cottonwood Cove: Inside Aurelius of Phoenix's office on the upper floor of the HQ, inside the nightstand next to the bed.
• Hidden Supply Cave: Resting on one of the large metal crates in the cave, sometimes behind the metal crates. The cave is behind an Average locked door.
• Jacobstown: Lying in front of the oven in the southernmost bungalow.
• Hopeville Women's Barracks (Requires Loansome Road DLC): At the rear of the barracks, the book is on a small table, underneath a ruined book.
• Villa Police Station (Requires Dead Money DLC): Inside the basement of the police station, the book is on the floor in the northwest corner room, in front of the filing cabinets.

Guns and Bullets

• Gomorrah: In Big Sal's office past a Hard locked door, upstairs from the main level of Brimstone, on the first low bookshelf on the left.
• Nevada Highway Patrol Station: On the desk without the computer in the entrance office room, nearest the door leading to the cells.
• Raul's Shack: Inside the shack, in the wooden crate next to the door.
• Vault 34: On the small metal table between the sofas by the pool table, in the armory common room.
• Hopeville Armory (Requires Loansome Road DLC): The book is located under the desk in the northeast corner, near a bed that can be used for resting.
• Sierra Madre Casino (Requires Dead Money DLC): The book is on the floor behind the cashier's desk, which can be accessed via the ceiling beams.

Lying, Congressional Style

• Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch: On an open locker shelf, in the upstairs room with the chessboard.
• Cerulean Robotics: On the floor among the office desks.
• Lucky Jim Mine: Inside the Lucky Jim Mine house, on the bottom shelf below a varmint rifle.
• NCR Correctional Facility: Second floor of the NCR CF administration, on a desk.
• The Tampico (Requires Dead Money DLC): You'll find it on a shelf, directly across from the holotape projector.
• Third Street Municipal Building (Requires Loansome Road DLC): It's located in the farthest eastern corner, under a physician's desk. Be aware, it might have fallen off the building after a warhead detonation.

Nikola Tesla and You

• Hidden Valley: Located on the first floor of the Hidden Valley bunker building, in the white plastic bin by the desk in Schuler's office, west of the central hub corridor junction.
• Old Nuclear Test Site: Inside the nuclear test shack on the small table opposite to the exit.
• REPCONN Headquarters: On the first floor, past the Very Hard locked door, on top of the safe. The key is on the third floor from a suitcase next to a skeleton. The room can also be accessed through a hole in the floor of a western room on the second floor, past a Hard locked door.
• REPCONN Headquarters #2: can be found on the second floor, through the first door on the left, on the desk with the very easy locked terminal.
• Hopeville Missile Base Headquarters (Requires Loansome Road DLC): In the first room, look for a wooden shelf immediately to your right upon entering. The book is hidden beneath a burned book.
• Sierra Madre Vault (Requires Dead Money DLC): The book is in a duffle bag, located in the pipes beneath the vault.

Pugilism Illustrated

• Fisherman's Pride Shack: On the bedside table, inside the shack.
• Vault 11: Inside the living quarters, in the first female dorm, by the fallen dresser near a small sign on the ceiling that says "ladies".
• Nipton Road Reststop: Inside the store, lying on the wooden shelf on the left upon entering, close to the counter.
• The Tops: Inside the presidential suite, inside the pool room, on the tiny table in the corner.
• Wastewater Treatment Plant (Requires Loansome Road DLC): In the third room, look in the northeast corner behind a set of toppled lockers.
• Villa (Requires Dead Money DLC): You'll find it behind the fountain at the entrance of the Dead Money add-on.

Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor

• Allied Technologies Offices: In the largest room on the west side of the building, on the floor in front of the Nuka-Cola machine.
• Cap Counterfeiting Shack: On the suitcase by the bed, in the small back cellar room.
• Primm: Inside the Bison Steve Hotel, on the floor of the gift shop, behind the counter.
• Vault 22: Look in the lab room up the stairs from the elevator in pest control, then on the table with the bubbling vials.
• Marked Men Guard Outpost (Requires Loansome Road DLC): Accessible through a cellar door on the building's eastern wall, it's downstairs on a table near some gore on the northwest wall.
• Salida del Sol South (Requires Dead Money DLC): opposite building to the Salida del Sol house, on a bookshelf

Tumblers Today

• Bitter Springs Recreation Area: Inside the office shack to the west, on the desk in the smaller of the two rooms.
• The Prospector's Den: Inside the caves, in the subterranean den structure, in the large barracks room, on the floor in the far right corner.
• Silver Peak Mine: Inside the shack, behind the two small tables, on the ground in an open locker, to the right of the entrance.
• Wolfhorn Ranch: Inside the farmhouse, partially under the fridge without a door.
• Hopeville Missile Base (Requires Loansome Road DLC): Inside the Hopeville men's barracks, it's in the toilets, hidden under an overturned box.
• Sierra Madre Casino (Requires Dead Money DLC): On the casino floor area, it's in the southeast third-floor office, placed on top of the tool cabinet.

Wasteland Survival Guide

• Lone Wolf Radio: Inside the radio trailer, near the mattress.
• Matthews Animal Husbandry Farm: Top balcony of the northern barn, near the barrel crate.
• Mesquite Mountains Camp Site: Inside the western tent, behind the bedding and toolbox
• Scavenger Platform: Among the books under the fallen metal bookshelf, on the northern platform section.
• Waste Disposal Station (Requires Loansome Road DLC): Amidst the fallen radioactive barrels, it's behind a skeleton draped over one of the barrels, sandwiched between two lead-lined metal boxes.
